Multiple Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) were modeled. Simulation results of the final energy models, as demonstrated in total energy usage table, indicate the proposed design is 28.8% more energy cost efficient than the ASHRAE 90.1-2010 reference model. Upon the approval by GBCI, the project would achieve 11 points from the Optimize Energy Performance credit.

Rendering of the Baseline Reference Model with as is Orientation, South East view

Rendering of the Baseline Reference Model demonstrating different fenestration types, North West view

Source: Performance Output tab of the Minimum Energy Performance Calculator – LEED-Online

Project Location: 301 Old bay lane, Havre de Grace, MarylandOwner/Client: Maryland Military DepartmentArchitectural Firm: Penza+Bailey ArchitectsRating system: LEED v4 BD+C: NCGross floor area: 42,400 sq ftAnticipated end date: 08 Sep 2020Project type: Service: Repair Shop Climatic Design LLC has performed a whole-building energy model simulation, a comprehensive energy analysis, and an assessment of the building […]

["post-1472","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
