Climatic Design LLC has performed a whole-building energy model simulation, a comprehensive energy analysis, and an assessment of the building systems and configuration for the Surface Equipment Maintenance Facility (SEMF). Multiple Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) were modeled. Simulation results of the final energy models, as demonstrated in total energy usage table, indicate the proposed design is 28.8% more energy cost efficient than the ASHRAE 90.1-2010 reference model. Upon the approval by GBCI, the project would achieve 11 points from the Optimize Energy Performance credit.
